Interval Walking Training, developed by the Japanese, is a technique that alternates between 3 minutes of slow, relaxed walking and 3 minutes of brisk walking. It’s been shown to help reduce blood pressure, depression symptoms, stroke risk while enhancing muscle strength and immune system function as well as helping with sleep. Walking is an exercise that can’t be overdone!
